Moyers Gap

On Saturday I rode over from the Sugar Grove side on the Wee. Most of the turns were covered with gravel from cars and recent rains. IMHO something was lost when they paved this one; I wonder how they justified the cost to pave this one in its entirety. Oh, and heads up - portions of the road have an 18" drop on the uphill side of the road and cagers drive it faster now with the road paved the whole way.

yep that's what we all expected to happen. So won't be long before a cage or bike has a really bad accident.

Planing an overnight padddle on the James river the weekend of June 22cnd. We would put in at Bent Creek, spend the night at James River Park, and take out at Wingina? That would be about 7 easy lazy miles per day.

WE Might go from Bent creek to James River Wild Life Managemt Area... thats a haul but it'll be free. (16ish miles in 1 day)

I cross posted since I was talking some of you all at the fall camp out about this trip.
