Blooch, I figured I would post here since you guys use Big Agnes and turned me on to them a few years ago. My insulated pad started leaking last year, it was a slow leak so I just lived with it. This year it had gotten to the point where I woke up on the ground every morning. I checked it and it was leaking in several spots so I filled out their online claim form. I got a quick response via e-mail giving me a claim number to ship it back to them. The next day I get a tracking number from Fedex for something coming from Big Agnes. It showed up today, not only did they replace my pad they upgraded me from an 80 dollar Duo-Core to a 140 dollar Q-core. Nice to know there's still a few good companies out there to deal with.

Isn't it nice dealing with people like that? I'm loyal to a company with that kind of customer service. I was looking at buying an Exped air pad but after this experience with BA I can't see myself spending my money anywhere else. Too bad more companies don't see the value in that.

Thumb Marmot

I had a $350 parka replaced with a new model after 15 years because of a problem with the goretex taping. Marmot goes on that list...

That was probably Gore, Mike.
No leaks for life. Period.

You know, I really ought to jump on that. I have an anorak and a jacket from LL Bean, both Gore-Tex, both leak.
