+1 000 000.

it's the price we must pay for the pleasure to ride with only two wheels

If I didn't see the photo and you typed this I would say you had been in the pub too long.

I still don't see why we should have to pay the price of crashing our vehicles and injuring ourselves for riding a bike, but oh well.
Each for his own.

Hells yeah!!
Now that's what I call proper motorcycle riding!
Hats off to those guys - that's the spirit.
Where did they come from anyway? You can't really see the plates in the photos.

Glad you're finally having some good weather over there.
Here it's more like what bubu describes - cold, rainy, gray, depressing. This spring really sucks.

And Gary - what the hell is he doing?? How can someone crash a bike like that and then even THINK about getting a S1000RR right away? Is he in the money printing business?
No seriously - all the best for him and I'd love to see the S, too.

Cheers!

bike, rollers, skiing, and all those type of activities can give you some bad injuries. Do you never crash in bike? if not you are so lucky...

Oh.... I did.
(Go back a few pages in this thread and you'll see the reason why I haven't been on a bike for more than eight months... )

And I understand what you mean, absolutely. There's always a risk and that's true for most fun things. No argument here! Maybe that's even part of the fun, I don't know.
The only thing I don't agree with is the way you make it sound like "oh well, people get hurt, so what?".
You know it just sounds like bad things wil happen anyway, so why take care.
But maybe it's just me still being a bit hypersensitive to those kinda things. It's nothing against you anyway!!
Sorry if it sounded offensive.

So let's not discuss that further!
Let's just all be friends and enjoy the pics and RIDING (without crashing, hopefully) !!

Unfortunately I did not ride the big Versys ..so I can't give you any detailed rider input .... what I can tell you is Srevie, who normally rides his ZX6R ninja, summed the experience up as 'comfy' ... and certainly seemed to enjoy riding it all day. He was also enjoying the enhanced views from a higher and more upright seating position commenting that he had seen things he had never noticed before.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to seeing and getting some pics of the big BMW when he gets it .... that's if I can keep up long enough to snap a pic...... It's been hard enough as it is!

No problemo!!

I live to ride, but i know what i must pay to do this. I ride safely on road, and the most quick i can on track, but crash is always here, one day. So i don't want to loose time with this idea in my head, and i prefere take what the life wants to give...

Tires touch the road on 1/2 credit card area , so we can't stay always on our wheels...
