Lol! ..... But I do love Moto-Guzzis ...when I was a young lad the 'Le Mans' was one of my dream bikes. I rode one years later - it was strange how it rocked from side to side when stationary if you revved it. Love the look of the Guzzi engine.

I love this thread.

I had a friend over yesterday and she said that her trip to Scotland was a disappointment. The history and all was great, but the terrain wasn't to her liking. After picking up my jaw, I decided that she will need to sit down and read this entire report. I will be there to answer any questions she has.

Personally, I live for this RR!

You are lucky, she have only her GIXXER. If she had the GIXXER, a repsol CBR, a kawasaki ZX10R (green of course), you couldn't ride, and you would have a big place for all the leather, gloves, boots, helmets, etc...

Congratulations Sarah, in bike you stay a Lady

Thanks

'terrain wasn't to her liking' ....... It depends if you are looking at it or walking across it...... too many high hills for the latter (for my liking) ...maybe she was on a walking holiday? Otherwise no, I don't understand her! - There are things to dislike about Scotland namely the weather, and midges ...... but you can't dislike the scenery or the roads ...both of which are 'world class' (in my biased opinion).

Thanks for the ..... glad you like the thread so much.

WIZ is not doing wooden knee sliders to my knowledge, but they are pretty famous for their leather ones. So I'd say bubu's right.
Thumbs up for good choice in your leather's manufacturer as well.
One thing the Belgians are good at at last! (Waffles, beer and French Fries as well, ok...)
