Kamchat and AllBlackPearl (and maybe bubu ), you guys are the best!

Kamchat, did you hear that I honked at you as a greeting in the morning. I passed this place with a truck at about 5:00 am. But I'm back home 2 hours ago.
(Unable to take a better picture with my cell phone)

Small world! Lol! - I know exactly where that is ... you were heading north on the M73, just east of Glasgow..... Unfortunately (or fortunately ) I didn't hear you honking - I was fast asleep 10 miles to the west.

Cheers ..... I really hope the weather improves for you... it's not been great the past few days ..and the weekend forecast isn't brilliant at the moment. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you (and me).

Not exactly sure why, but thanks a million, mate!
Here's to our future biker girl Andrea.
(WHY did you have to post this photo?? )
Regards from the Vosges Mountains in France - it's good to be on the road again.

Wow, the RGV looks excellently maintained. They still can be had for a fairly reasonable price here in Japan, but finding one in that kind of condition is very hard. The NSR250 commands a higher price because it was the creme dela creme of that class.

The best bit, my son is coming along for the ride.
Fitting as it was my Dad who took me along previously.
So thanks for posting the pics and link that made it possible

Neil.
Tomorrow is the day, actually later today
Will report back hopefully with pics.

You certainly don't see many on the roads here..... seems odd when I think back to when I started riding ..and most bikes on the roads were two-strokes. aaah - the smell! the noise! the clouds of blue smoke! ......... the seized engines!

I'm jealous! I love Durness and the surrounding area, by far the most beautiful part of Scotland. I was lucky enough to be up there earlier in the year and it was my first time in warm weather - 24 Degrees!

P.S. great thread! I've been following for some time!
