Thanks for all the pictures. Ride safe.
Oh bugger! If time is running short at 54 I'm in deep do do.
Put a little $$ aside each month and you'll have a plane ticket in no time, just do it

These colors are from the SERT.

The GS1000R (and XB1000R) was yellow and black, and when the SERT become the official team the GS1000R became blue and white, and suzuki kept this color for the first GSXR cause this bike was the first "race replica" and the first GIXXER was the replica of the GS1000R of the SERT (1984)

1983

1984

May be i make a mistake, and i will ask to a friend who is a specialist of suzuki. Normaly Yellow and black are the official suzuki colors ( like MX ), blue and white are SERT's colors, and red and black ares Yoshimura's colors... i will ask. And the price will be good wine cause my friend like that

bubu ...

I'm not saying the Suzuki Endurance Racing Team didn't use blue and white colours ...but.... just ask anyone who rides bikes - 'What colours do you associate with gixxers?'

....the answer will be 'Blue n White'. .....

Oh sorry a misunderstood... My english is not so good

Suzuki is not like honda, yamaha, kawasaki or ducati. So it is a bit difficult with the "official" colors.

No worries mate .... Your English is a lot better than my French ! Lol!

Like I said, this is not about 'Suzuki Official Colours' ..... but the colours associated with gixxers - the same as the Scottish Saltire.

Anyway ..I'm glad we cleared that up ! Lol!
