We were out again on Sunday ..dodging the showers again....Because of the weather to the west we had to head north east ..for a run up the A93 past the Spittal of Glenshee to Braemar ...

Filling up first thing ...this lovely wee Frog-eyed Sprite pulled into the garage behind me.

A tank of gas later found us refuelling in Blairgowrie ....When I say 'us' there were nine bikes out on the run ...

30 000 miles.

full BHP

it is an immaculate bike. I must change the chain, and for me the rear shock
and prepare the fork and the front brakes. And after this bike will be perfect...

The name of the ZZR is Casimir ( a sweet monster of an old french children tv show )

Arriving in Braemar ..in sunshine .....

Andy on the 1198

'The Torpedo' and Kevin ....

Lunch was soon procured after a quick root through the bins ....although Dave doesn't look too sure about his 'find'...

Braemar is the place to be if you are wanting to get all 'horny'....... It has it's very own 'Horn Shop'....

Some of the bikes in Braemar ...

Always did like this 'copper coloured' version of the gixxer...

Z REX.........

Not sure about the 'fur saddle thing' going on here.......particularly when it rains! - must take ages to dry out?

I haven't dipped into your thread in far too long. It's as good as I remember. Top work!

Thumb copper

"Always did like this 'copper coloured' version of the gixxer..."

I wholeheartedly agree!

But as near as I can tell, it was never offered in the U.S., I have heard of a few in Canada though.

Your last post has a few pics missing. I wonder if it is on your end or mine?

Hi there,

The copper & black colour scheme is quite a rare sight over here too... I can only recall ever seeing a couple on the road ...so I suspect that it was a 'limited run' of GSXR's with that paint. ... Maybe it was the same in the USA ?
