yes sure it is a 350 LC.

It is a very funny bike, and for me better than the 500 LC.

I want the 2 strokes back!!!

I agree and have thought for a while that one of the big Japanese manufacturers should bring out a 500/750 two-stroke sportsbike ..... with a modern frame, handling and brakes .... Ok, it may not be great on petrol consumption but I bet they would sell loads of them as a lot of older bikers like myself were brought up on these things and would love to ride one again to hark back to their youth... ... it would be a good niche market.

... Are you reading this Mr Suzuki ?

That Bentley looks similar to the Bentley my husband and I left our wedding in - it was a rental, but it was pretty amazing to ride in, for sure!

..and that's not 'the house' - just the stables tagged on the side of the house.......

The house is pretty impressive - It's Holkham Hall in Norfolk ...... built in 1764 it is home to the current Earl of Leicester

Hi Liz, good to hear from you .....sounds like you had the perfect wedding car ... I do love the smell of old leather you get inside cars from this era.
Bet it made a perfect 'backdrop' to some of your wedding photos too....

I used to like the old GT250 that came before it .... when I started out riding at 18 yrs old I had the RD250..and my best mate had the GT250 ........ 'happy days'... rattling baffles and trails of blue smoke ..

my 2nd bike (when I was 17) was a Suzuki T250R or Husler as it was known at the time, very quick 250cc at that time.

I won't lie, it was pretty incredible! It was a total surprise, too - we left the getaway car up to my parents, with the only stipulation being that they not get a typically American stretch limo. We suggested a 7 series BMW. The Bentley was much cooler! I wish we had a better photo of us and the car - we have several of the car, but only a couple of us getting into it.

Liz

Sounds like your parents made a good choice ...not only are these older cars 'cool' as you say ...but they are also 'classy'......

They do come with a slight risk though ..they are not always as reliable as a new car ...and on your wedding day 'reliability' is pretty high on the list of requirements. .
My daughter had an old Roller for her wedding car ...and it looked fabulous ..... (see pics below) ...however on the way to the wedding ...out in the 'middle of no-where' in the open countryside, it decided to stall... and wouldn't re-start ..... for several stressful minutes. I am sure it was a practical joke by her 'husband to be' who knew the owner/driver..... Luckily it started again after about five 'uncomfortable' minutes and my daughter starting to panic (we were already running late).

..and just because every page needs bike pics .......and to show we don't spend all our time on lovely winding country roads ...one of us arriving back in Glasgow on the M8, in the evening sun, after our last trip to Braemar...

Hi Terry,

My mate's was the model after that, when it became the GT250 (gaining the 'Ram Air' cooling shroud on the cylinder head and a front disc brake)... I ended up with the bigger brother of your's - the T500 'Titan' shortly afterwards. ..It was the first bike I had that would do over 100 mph ...mind you, 100 mph on it was a tad terrifying ...with it starting to do a 'death weave' as you approached maxxing it out at 108, even with the steering damper screwed right down........oh, and the drum brakes were also pretty lethal. Lol! ... I remember running a red light once because I knew there was no way I was going to be able to stop in time.

btw. have you seen this thread ? may be of interest, if you haven't...
