No worries, you are welcome.

Pics from Sunday ...... By the time we arrived in Oban the sun was shining ...and a lunch was a pleasant affair sitting outside sharing fish n chips with the seagulls...

Up to a whopping page 20.

I think more impressive than the taking one hand off to take great pictures, is the successfully riding the motorcycle AND navigating curves with just the other hand/arm. Is it safe to say you do a lot of peg weighting and tank squeezing with your legs?

And not to take anything away from the photographer...I think Bubu's shots show how good your camera is. I was all excited to get out with my camera(Canon Powershot SD850is) this weekend and try some shots like these, I fear that will not come out as good as your's.

EDIT: One other question: Is it required to wear full suits over there, beit leather or textile?? I think it is great that you all do....so many squids( what we call people here with next to no gear..or riding talent for that matter) here is America. I used to always wear my full leathers when we would do "spirited" riding trips, and of course required for track days.

I don't use the good mode on the camera i think, and Kam have done it for a long time... He is my master (and my friend)

i started to take pics like that next weekend, it is only my second time. and i try to have MY own style

It is not very difficult. Like on track you must control your bike more with your knees, foot and body, than with your hands and don't watch your camera, watch the road, and feel your hand in the space...

Thanks again to show me that Kam, it is very fun and interesting

Absolutely, ....I don't mind them calling them 'Safety Cameras' when they park them in built up residential areas or near schools etc....... but out on Rannoch Moor !? ...with no dwellings or pedestrians for miles - it's nothing to do with 'safety' and everything to do with 'revenue collection'.

Hi Doug ..... yes I think I am weighting the pegs when hanging off in the bends taking pics ...to be honest I don't really think about how / what I am doing ....I just do it and it seems to work ..... so far! .....It does sometimes unsettle some folk watching ...on Sunday Gary following on the S1000RR as I was taking pics of Graeme on the Panigale said he couldn't watch any more. ...oh and Sarah won't let me do it when she is on the pillion as it freaks her out.

As for full leather suits ? No it is not required by law here ...the only requirement by law is to wear a helmet..... other than that there is nothing to stop you wearing shorts and flip flops - other than the Scottish weather. Lol!

We all wear full kit because we like our skin ... I have skin grafts on my legs from an 'off' years ago when I was wearing jeans .....and it's not something I want to experience again!

I think peer pressure works in this regard too.... most riders here do wear full kit ...and so most people accept it as being the 'normal thing to do' Of course we are probably lucky as we don't get the really hot temps that others get in warmer climes that make it tempting to just go out in T-shirts and jeans.

As for cameras, I love my wee canon powershot sx130...one day I hope to get a better camera to try and improve my images. But the powershot is pretty good considering you can pick them up at the moment for just 60 in Argos. I find their weak area is taking pics in low light levels ...but then you can't expect to have everything for this basic level of camera.

No worries, you have got some 'catching up' to do if you are back on page 20 !

Oh, and - It may sound obvious, but please be careful if you are going to have a go this weekend taking pics whilst riding ..when I first started I nearly ran off the road a couple of times ...... You have to remember to look where you are riding first and foremost and work the camera with your 'peripheral vision' .....
