Still a little chilly this weekend at 8500ft. About 7C. First blue sky weekend in a while so I had to go!

That's a common misconception! I guess I was overdue to update my location.

Aaaaah, - I thought you might have been off on your travels.

Thanks, glad you like the new gixxer.

I managed to get out again yesterday afternoon, well the sun was shining and we had 12 C so I took the afternoon off to make the most of it.

Went up to the beach at Loch Lubnaig ...

Nice pic ...... and yes, at this time of year, after month's of winter you have got to grab the sunshine when it comes.

I was just the same yesterday afternoon. Went home early to grab a quick ride....

New rest area is open by Loch Lubnaig....

We still have snow too on the high ground....

Wow! That's not good. How many months of the year do you guys normally get in a 'riding season'? For us it's about 7 & 1/2, from mid March to the end of October.

Here's to another good season

Kamchat I have enjoyed your thread for quite some time now, and thought I would share a couple pics from where I ride. It has gotten unseasonably warm for us here in the Pacific North West of America, so here's to the start of a new season of riding.

I haven't posted a pic here before so this might take a couple of tries.

My Bavarian battle bike (BMW Rockster) and two of my best friends riding an old CB900, and Harley Softtail

A pit stop in Bickleton

Hopper at an overlook in Oregon

A pit stop on a solo ride

A good stretch of winding road coming home on a three day ride.

This one is just favorite of mine.

A spring ride up by Mt. Rainier

And of course Hopper's glamor shot

Great to see you out again, and that new gixxer is gorgeous!

I rode the cross-cycle out by the still frozen lake the other day. Brrrr!

Hope to get out on the Viffer for the first ride tomorrow!
