Wow! That's not good. How many months of the year do you guys normally get in a 'riding season'? For us it's about 7 & 1/2, from mid March to the end of October.

Here's to another good season

Kamchat I have enjoyed your thread for quite some time now, and thought I would share a couple pics from where I ride. It has gotten unseasonably warm for us here in the Pacific North West of America, so here's to the start of a new season of riding.

I haven't posted a pic here before so this might take a couple of tries.

My Bavarian battle bike (BMW Rockster) and two of my best friends riding an old CB900, and Harley Softtail

A pit stop in Bickleton

Hopper at an overlook in Oregon
[IMG][/IMG]

A pit stop on a solo ride
[IMG][/IMG]

A good stretch of winding road coming home on a three day ride.

This one is just favorite of mine.

A spring ride up by Mt. Rainier

And of course Hopper's glamor shot

Great to see you out again, and that new gixxer is gorgeous!

I rode the cross-cycle out by the still frozen lake the other day. Brrrr!

Hope to get out on the Viffer for the first ride tomorrow!

Thanks for the 'eye candy' thumbs up......glad you think so.
As bubu said, I'm sure Colorado is full of it's own distinctive eye candy too....

Always great to know folk enjoy the thread, thanks for posting to say so.

'Here's to a new rideout season' - Absolutely! ..ours should start anytime now, just waiting for a dry Sunday.

Good to see your ride pics ....days out on the bikes with mates are the best of days.
Like the BMW, it's a distinctive and 'cool' looking machine.

Thanks, - Good luck getting out tomorrow, hope the sun shines for you... not looking too hopeful for us - rain forecast . Nice cycle-cross, Sarah is really enjoying riding her's (Giant)..... we got out today for a cycle...but as you can see it was without the sunshine.

Sorry to hear it...hopefully spring will be with you real soon.

The only good thing about winter is it really makes you appreciate summer!

As mentioned above...we got out for our usual Sat cycle today ... I have been keen to keep this up ever since my heart attack a couple of years ago ...and it has been quite effective, I have lost a couple of stone and feel a lot fitter for it.

Today we did a 26 mile route from Balloch on cycle route 7 to Gartness then back down the West Highland Way.

Some of today's views...
