Cool2 coat

Over here in cowboy and Indian land, those "slickers" are made from waxed cotton, and have straps at the knees to keep the bottoms from flapping. If he caught them in the chain, he would be the first to know.

Thanks ... I was surprised at the pic quality too.....it's not a fancy, latest generation, phone....it's an 'I-phone 4' which is about three year's old now.

That's what would have worried me too......
'Straps at the knees' - good idea - 'You learn something new every day'.

Thanks, glad you like them, it gives me the chance to see and photo stuff I wouldn't get to on the motorbike...plus because you are going at a slower speed you notice more stuff. ......stuff I have ridden past on the gixxer without seeing.

I love both the cycling and the motorbiking, both being on two wheels they kind of compliment each other.

Yesterday it was motorbiking day! Yay!....and although cool at 9C and very dull and overcast it was mostly dry.

Being Mothers Day and grey I wasn't expecting much of a turnout so I was surprised when we ended up with 14 bikes out!

Our bikes in Callander, late morning...

Earlier in the day ..meting up at 'Spoons' for a brew and to discuss the day's route...

It's always interesting to see who will turn up on what after the long winter hibernation. Jimmy turned up on a V4 Tuono, which is a replacement for his Speed Triple which got smashed on the Strathyre road last summer.......

I asked him how it compared to the Triple..'It's like a Triple on Steroids' was the reply, high praise seeing as he loved the Triple.
