Hi Phil ..good to hear from you again.
I too would like to think it was my 'awesome riding skiliz' that saved my bacon ...but it was probably more down to luck. My 'riding skillz' tend to get me into trouble rather than out of it! Lol!
Still, as long as my luck keeps holding out I can't complain.

Sunday

3rd day in a row of glorious weather. Met the group for the day's run .....

10:00 am...

It was a decent turnout ..13 bikes in all ...... Including members of the 'Carbeth Knitting Club' and the 'grasscutter' (who is the current Scottish Clubman Racing Champion on his gixxer 1000 race bike) ...it's no surprise that his road bike is also a gixxer 1000...

Worn with pride ..and a touch of humour ...

Peter's Blade and my gixxer at Loch Lubnaig .....

Lot of bikes up at The Welly ....including this chopper....

We met up with out friend Ralph again at The Welly still enjoying his first tastes of biking. As on Friday, he joined us for another 200+ mile day on his CBR125, going at his own pace and catching up at the various stops.

Also waiting to meet us was Tony who is up from England touring and camping round Scotland for the Easter break..... Tony looking slightly 'wired' - that 'Red Bull' was obviously working! Lol!

Somewhere on the way up Stewart lost his plate.....

So he set about sorting out a makeshift one from cardboard and electrical tape (much to the amusement of the rest of us - there were bets on how long it would stay in place!)

Off to Oban ...for lunch...

Out on to to the Lochgilphead to Inveraray road..... One of my current favourites, not as scenic as some routes ....but 'oh my God' the sheer number of fast flowing and well surfaced bends ...

Wow!!.. Great on you to take such advantage of a fine stretch of blue skies and dry roads! You are making me very jealous! Snowing and raining outside my north idaho window just now.

Stewart's cardboard plate survived the whole day amazingly....although it's a good job we didn't encounter any rain.

Ralph and Mark .... Ralph has certainly enjoyed his first couple of weeks of biking....and is now 'hooked'.

Also bumped into Victor in Inveraray ..I didn't recognise him at first a) because he has grown a beard, and b) because he wasn't on a Ducati! ..... Last time he was out with us he was riding a Multistrada ..but on Sunday he was on this .....

He still has his collection of Ducati's ..including the Desmosedici...and has a Superleggera Panigale on order...... Nice!
