Thanks for the 'thumbs up' on the thread and the 'heads up' on the link ...both are very much appreciated. I'll post on the link shortly and let you know on here if anything comes of it. Cheers again.

Kam, it is time for a good lunch...

Would you like to come again in France?

Cheers ...... and it has .......after four wet weekends we finally got a dry one. The first sunny Sunday for a month meant there was a good turnout yesterday with 18 bikes out for the run. Unfortunately the police seemed to be out in numbers too. It was an eventful day with speeding tickets, accidents and road closures ...... not to mention that I may be losing my licence ..*sigh* - never a dull moment.

What's happening

Hi Kam so what's going on here, Police car in the middle of the road, looks like cars coming from the other direction ?
Loss of licence..run out of points or a big one...40kms over the limit here is 6 months straight away & over a $1000 fine

There were three 'incidents' yesterday ...the pic you are referring to was the first one ...the road was shut due to an accident involving a bike hitting a chevron sign on a bend ...this is the aftermath just as the road was about to re-open - the ambulances have left and the bike manovering to leave was one from the group with the injured rider.

My 'incident' happened later in the day - police hiding in bushes at side of road with a speed gun..... got me at 102 mph 'apparently' ......but it could have been worse - they also got one of the others at bigger figure! (the speed limit is 60).

Back to the morning - as you can see from our stop in Callander it was a good turnout ...and we were still waiting for others to arrive...

There were three S1000RR's out with us yesterday ...

Next stop - Green Welly in Tyndrum...

Next it was on to Oban for lunch ...but before we got there we came across a long queue of stationary traffic - as we filtered down to the front we discovered the road was shut due the previously mentioned accident ...

The bike in the accident had totally flattened the big chevron sign previous to the one in this pic...

It's clearly not the first bad accident on this bend...

No way!! that is not a good news. Did you loose your licence or is it a possibility?

Different countries, same results.
