I fitted new tyres to my nail today. Made some difference. The old rear was pretty badly squared off and the front was cupped quite badly.
Every time I have gone to Ducati the shops always been shut. only ever peered in the window then went to hein gericke and laughed at their ridiculous pricing.

"Wow that's really cool to hear ...Was it a British Forum? ( I know a few people from other forums) Glad to know you enjoyed the thread ..and yes I will do my best to 'keep it up'...... just waiting for decent riding weather (last weekend we had snow again). "
yes it was linked on a thread on biker banter on the piston heads forum http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/f...h=0&f=74&mid=0 |

Good to hear you are 'booted up' for the season ..... was hoping to get out Sunday for a ride and scrub in the new tyre ...but the miserable damp weather put pay to that (petrol is now getting so expensive at £1.30 a litre that I have decided to cut back by trying to conserve burning it, for pleasure only, on dry days). Of course today, when I have to work, the sun is shining! ![]() The Ducati Store is open Tue - Sat and Sunday afternoons. Shut Monday (and Sunday in winter). |

Ace thread!!, found it about a week ago and finally got thru it, excellent photo's also, always try and get up to bonnie scotland at least once a year, fell in love with the place 20 years ago after a fortnight biking holiday back in 91. Hoping to get up there for 3 or 4 days week after easter (least the bleedin midges should still be asleep!! ha ha!) plus a week or so early july, reading this thread has made me even keener than usual!. i'll have to give the welly a bash one day, never stopped there for nosebag but i've enjoyed the fish and chips from tyndrum, spent a very pleasant hour there sat in the sun by the roadside munching away.
Keep up the great work mate and maybe siya on the road one day. Keith, Hull. |

Cheers mate. Have to admit that when it comes to eating in Tyndrum we prefer the Real Food Cafe were you can get great fish n chips, sit outside, roadside (as you say) and enjoy watching the bikes streaming past on a sunny Sunday. We then go across the road to the Welly for petrol.... the nice thing about the Welly is there is usually loads of bikes there....and if we are just stopping for a brew we stop and sit outside at the Welly. Hope to see you on the road maybe one day ...and if you ever want to hook up for a ride when you are up this way just let me know. |

Small world! Yes, we came upon them just before Tyndrum.... group of large cruisers ..... We pulled into the 'Real Food Cafe' and they went on to the Welly..we went over to get fuel later and their bikes were in the bike park. Sorry to hear about your hand .. ouch! - sounds painful.
