You were pretty damn close - Bol d'or.
Nice looking bike ..though I think it would have to be in the classic Honda red/white with gold wheels for me.

Awesome. Great thread with great pics, rarely do you come around a thread containing so beautiful pics all together. It was a treat to watch, many of the pics are quite a work of art.

Yes right, and it made me excited to see an FZR over there because I too own one, a 1990 FZR 250. Quite a rare machine now, especially when its in original condition

Whee fresh bike pics!! Fabulous! And even an Ariel Atom....now that is a car The end of winter is upon us (we call it breakup here in Alaska...because all the ice breaks up) and with a little luck and a thawed driveway, I'll be back on two wheels soon myself.

Thank you! I'm not sure they are 'works of art' but it was awesome of you to say so!

However, if anyone want's to pay me 'Piccaso money' for them I won't complain! Lol!

Your FZR 250 must be a rare gem of a machine - unlike the 750 and 1,000's it was a 'for Japan only' bike although they were imported unofficially into other countries apparently.

Bet it is still delivering lots of pleasure despite being over 20 yrs old.

AKLiz .... good to hear the waiting is almost over for you - 'let the good times roll'

As for the Atom - must be the closest thing on four wheels to getting the same feeling as riding a bike - but still not as good. Mind you, if I was loaded I would happily own one.

I have driven one ........

...once ...

.......on my son's PGR4 for the XBox ! Lol!

Some more pics from the Sunny Sunday just gone .... leaving Inveraray ... David was sporting his new jacket - unfortunately I had left my tinted visor at home. (just kiddin' Dave if you are reading this )

Coming down off 'The Rest' A83....

Dave's bike - that gold always looks best with the sun shining on it....

Thanks for making my day ..... and although your opinion may be a tad 'over-generous' it's worth a lot to me.

Yes, come back and do lots of riding - and join us if you are in the area.

Long time indeed .... Hi again ............. 'the Goddess' ? Lol! - don't be giving her ideas! Sarah has not been on the last couple of rideouts as she is still not fully recovered from her broken leg .. she can ride again now ..but anything more than about an hour's riding is too painful.... she has trouble changing gear and has to lift her foot off the peg over bumps. But she's getting there, slowly ..... went out with her for a wee blast on tuesday evening after work .....

At Christmas - Out on the beach .... on crutches ...walking the cat.....

Tuesday evening just gone - second time back in the saddle...

Aye! Lol! - but it's the gravel you often find on the tight L.H. bend just after the golf course entrance that bothers me more.

True. I was on it last night as a passenger in a cage, some fool in a megane convertible decided to go into the Queens view car park then changed their mind so were just sat across both lanes facing in at it pointing!

We were coming from Glasgow as a bit of a lick, so we came round the corner to this.

Quite a few bikes at the Carbeth as well actually.
