Long time indeed .... Hi again ............. 'the Goddess' ? Lol! - don't be giving her ideas! Sarah has not been on the last couple of rideouts as she is still not fully recovered from her broken leg .. she can ride again now ..but anything more than about an hour's riding is too painful.... she has trouble changing gear and has to lift her foot off the peg over bumps. But she's getting there, slowly ..... went out with her for a wee blast on tuesday evening after work .....

At Christmas - Out on the beach .... on crutches ...walking the cat.....

Aye! Lol! - but it's the gravel you often find on the tight L.H. bend just after the golf course entrance that bothers me more.

True. I was on it last night as a passenger in a cage, some fool in a megane convertible decided to go into the Queens view car park then changed their mind so were just sat across both lanes facing in at it pointing!

We were coming from Glasgow as a bit of a lick, so we came round the corner to this.

Quite a few bikes at the Carbeth as well actually.

I love that series of bends at the Queens View ...it's just a shame the entrance to the car park is slap bang in the middle of them! .... always got to be ready and covering the front brake as you crank round them.

Just a wee post to say thank you so much for posting such great pics of my beloved Scotland. I moved back to the West about 12 years ago and got back in to bikes. We really are blessed here with fantastic roads, best thing that I ever did was getting a bike again. Only two complaints about this thread:

1/ I was up till 1 am working my way through the pics!

2/ I'm not in any! All my favourite roads are there and I was even on the 2009
Easter egg run. Have I been photoshopped out for being uncool?

I suppose 52 pages of pics is a lot to do in one sitting - It's taken me over a year! ..so you did well! Lol!

As for 'not being in any of them' - you are probably somewhere in the Egg Run ones - just not found yourself yet! (It's a bit like one of those 'Where's Wally' kid's books....keep looking - hours of fun! ) .... but if you want to be more prominent in some ... come and join us one Sunday. ... Send me a pm if you fancy it and we will sort something out .... We will be out most dry Sundays. (Then you can negotiate the 'kidney deal' with Stewart in person ).

Thanks, glad you like the pics. ..... Yeah, no worries, same as I said above - we are out most Sundays ....we are currently waiting to see how the weather is looking for this Sunday ( not been looking good up till now - but it's starting to change ) pm me if you are / when you are free and I will let you know details.

Not sure about this year's Egg Run ..they seem to be doing their best to ruin it - restricting numbers, having to pre-register, shortening the route, keeping it out of Glasgow City Centre and off any main roads.

Yes, some of our group do the IOM and also the North West races.

Sarah and I were at the IOM last in 2008.
