You say the UK has history, I suppose it does. No one knows anything about it and you can;t find it.

America for some reason has more history in its 200 years than the uks 2 thousand years!

Anyway back on topic no pics sadly but I was at Inverary today, the Police were there in force and pulling everyone in at the traffic lights at the bridge, for a check and a talking to.

They have 'dry clutches' ... no oil to leak ... and they make that distinctive Ducati 'clattering' sound on tickover ... Martin at Ducati Glasgow aptly described it as a sound like 'a skeleton playing with itself in a buiscuit tin' (except he used a different term for 'playing with itself') .... and you need to avoid long scarves.

But I'd still like to give it a go with you guys if I ever made it over there.

oh, i almost forgot...

Sarah is the bomb!

Thanks for the ... really appreciate the comment. You are welcome to join us anytime. .... and yes, I know I am a lucky guy to have all this this scenery ..... and Sarah - so much beautiful stuff to look at!

Thanks again.

Hi, yes, we were out today too .... seeing how far Sarah could get with her sore leg ... made it up to Tyndrum and back via Strathyre .... we bumped into some of 'the crew' in Strathyre and they had been stopped by the police in Inveraray too.

What a beautiful day it was though ... like summer has arrived! .....

Going down Glen Ogle A84

Our bikes in Strathyre ...

A82 nr Crianlarich

A81 in the woods south of Callander..

when we were pulled over there was an orange RC8 there as well. He nearly crashed into his pal when he started it. Which I laughed at.

Weather was good but the age old problem of every muppet with a bike was out and 90% of them can't ride properly.

I was also surprised that the road up to the rest no longer has the temporary lights there, temp lights that were there for about 15 years!

My ass was killing me today, longest run non stop this year.

Saw three RC8's yesterday .... But yes, if your going to make a 'cock up' why is it that it always happens in the worst place with an gathered audience. Done it myself ..... several times. Lol!

Looks like we are in for another great day - Oban bound today - bliss!

A81 Loch Lomond heading out of Tarbet northwards yesterday ....

Anyone who hasn't ridden it probably wouldn't believe this is the same road a bit further up ...but it is.

Yesterday ... unfortunately the day didn't start without drama ... one of the group wacked their rear wheel rim on a wee ramp in the roadworks on the A81 south of Aberfoyle. Due to the terrible winter there are a lot of roadworks going on to repair the damage.

When I say he 'wacked it' I'm not kidding - his tyre deflated ..and check out the size of the 'dink' in the rim!
