If they are the same as my '09 , yes. It is a simple plug in under the tank. I think I bought mine from Munn.

If things have not changed...wire under the tank connected = hot map
disconnected = soft map. To change maps on the fly you need a switch.
I use a 11 300 ignition box.

Seat swap?

Anyone want a tall seat for a 2011 KTM300? I need something lower and would just as soon swap with someone's stock seat, pan and all. I also have a tall gel seat if that interests you.

I need to lower this bike a couple of inches before doing 5MOH in less than 2 weeks. It sits at least 2-3 inches higher than my old 300.

I'd like to ride mine on the street but getting it tagged can be tough.

My '12 is plated. It was as simple as going to the DMV with some $. Even in Massachusetts.
Thankfully the mco doesn't say for offroad use only, and the supposed vin codes that indicate that weren't flagged either.
Even if Maryland denies it, there are easily ways around it.

Unfortuantely no MSO for my 99 MXC just a bill of sale.

I did see a 300 in sumo trim on the BRP this summer. With the hockey stick muffler it was darn near silent and the guy was riding around everyone like they were sitting still. Not sure my DL could withstand a set a of 17s on the 300

my 01 mxc above had no paperwork either, but here in indiana... 05 and newer needs title/off rd title/cert of origin. but 04 and older just needs bill of sale. i thought same though, which is why it took me so long to try it. but wound up being fairly simple.

Unfortunately, Florida is a bit more difficult.

I'd did just buy a titled frame and I've got all the parts to build another bike. The motor needs a rebuild but that should not be a problem.

that's one reason why I bought a new one, nobody messed with the title or anything and go to dealer and boom transfer the plate from my drz and i'm 100% legal. lucklily i have a brake light switch and high beam switch, now just have to install a bicycle horn and mirror

also probably going to switch my drz sumo wheels on the ktm.....that should be fun

Any thoughts on the best year 300? I'm on a 2007 XC-W now, but want to get a newer bike, either brand spankin new or a one or two year old? Are the new ones any better or worse than the 11's and 12's? No complaints on my current ride, but I like the idea of having a button, etc. More modern bike.
