Thanks!

I just wanted to add that I too had a grat time even though my van busted a radiator hose on the way up. I missed Sat's ride and did only a little of Sunday's ride before I had to go. The dinner was great with plenty of food for everyone. There was more than enough booze to give everyone a gnarly hangover if they wanted it. There were plenty of great people to "talk shop" with or just hang out and have a good time.

In my experience, ADV people that go to these types of meetups and especially those who help to coordinate them are just the coolest people.

Thanks, Jeff and Marilyn for a great time!

I'm still in Tahoe so if anyone wants to go riding around here or the Carson stretch, PM me.

Hey Vermon!

So Vern asks me how my Zak Speed chest protector works Saturday morning at the Red Hut. "Don't know" I replied, "never crashed in it". Turns out it works pretty well. I hit the deck going up Kings Canyon. Managed to keep whats left of my pride intact by dusting myself off before Lonestar (Rob) ran over me (or worse, got a pic of me sprawled in the dirt). Had to tweek the risers to get the bars straight.

Marilyn & Jeff, thanks for putting on this great event and also for giving me the primo parking spot, although I did notice there were some decidedly dodgy characters loitering around, not the type you would want to meet in a darkened alley late at night!Photobucket

Link to Calstar

Hi Everyone,
As promised, here is the link to Calstar. It is an inexpensive insurance for Life Flight, no matter what sport you are doing. Avaiable for individual or family plans. Well worth it.

Hey Joel,

Is PYYPP Pinoy for FYYFF?

I saw that on your truck and it made me chuckle.

OMG, I just realized that I was riding with Hot Momma and Me on Sunday. I didn't tell you in person, but I really enjoy your road reports. Thanks for them.

Joel said Vermin, err Vermon "converted" his FYYFF to PYYPP with very artful use of a black marker. Well done, I had to look close to see it.
