hell ya'll - im heading out to Ridgecrest again tomorrow to tear it up in the beautiful Mojave desert on another USDR event.
Its supposed to be a faster loop this time, so im excited to let the 650 howl!!

This was was AWESOME..... the weather was not very much fun to deal with. The nutshell of it was cold and VERY windy right up until the start then; rain for the duration of the race. It made the grip incredible - the XR650R was like a rocketship out there!! I got her up to at least 90 a few times, lots of fast sections and lots of passing for the beast. The best feeling is watching the other bikes struggle in the sand and flying past!!
No crashes and I did very very well (for me) I got through at least two row that were in front of me. Im starting to figure things out a bit here. (John) One of the Lost Coyotes got first - in class I think but he may have done 1st overall, not sure yet. More later!
