I dont - my brain is always somewhere else when I finish the race. Also they always look so busy, I dont want to bother anyone with questions.

It was obvious that had caught a group of much faster riders because once I caught them - there was no catching them again.... I also passed some quads! I dont ever remember seeing quads ahead of us on the start though... not sure how that worked.

You guys can't plate dirt bikes and have that green sticker mess to deal with and they are plating lawn mowers?? Leave it to Californians

I'm glad you're ok...and we're waiting for the story

UPS factors in to this because they refuse to actaully do their job and deliver packages to my apartment. So whenever I get a package from them, I have to drive downtown to pick it up and it takes a fair amount of time and im usually pissed off about it coming home.

ANYHOWS.....

got the first pic from the race on sunday - pouring rain!

I passed about 5 quads, which I had never done before. I started on seventh row and the quads were on the second row. So I managed to pass guys that started a few minutes before I did, on a "fast" course.

Im proud of that!

Its great having action pics.

Any clever tips on keeping the googles clean enough to see when racing? I havent had the pleasure (sic) of racing in the rain yet, and only have a fancy technique for my DS helmet´s visor: The wipe-with-glove method.

Cheers

you can use tear offs - I have never used them before but tons of guys use them.... or just be at the front!

racing in the rain is weird because you have way more traction and grip.... plus more acceleration which turns a bike like the 650R into a rocketship. You get acceleration better than you never have before! Its crazy.

the only really bad thing is descending hills becomes dangerous. The rocks become very slippery and mud likes to hide.... luckily our race ended before the course really got bad.
