Works motor

Just looking at the German eBay and there is a rebuilt works 690 motor (CDP) for sale if someone needs a few extra hp
Not cheap by any stretch but it's there...

Starboard item: That's an extra main jet for the carburetor.
Originally the 2008 came with an EU street approval kit - consisting of a metal restrictor plate bolted on top of the air filter, 22mm exhaust oulet end caps and came delivered with the "strangled" main jet configuration.

Although missing on my bike ( which came in the full-effect, open & noisy configuration with the full-effect jet installed ) this bike was originally delivered with this extra jet kit for full-effect.

Port side item:
According to Vlado ( inmate "690RR" ) - this is one part of the special tool parts to remove rear axle bolt when removing engine.
It's bolted to the thread side of the swingarm axle to protect that end when hammering the axle loose.
