Luray Campground, early May?

Haven't done my birthday, or a long vacation in years. Gonna treat myself this year! Departing the "Greater Flugistan", thinking about Luray Campground on Kimball Road, May 3'rd, through the next weekend. I want to hire a BlueGrass Band for one of those days, and invite any local inmates over. If no one can make it, I'll sit there by myself, listen & get liquered up. I like blue grass music.

Any thoughts on that campground? I have a motorhome & will be trailering the bikes.
Anyone want to show me some dirt that week? No hero MX stuff. Fast is ok.
If there is any interest in listening to some bluegrass, I'm thinking Thursday, and camping overnight, I will spring for a half. (now I got your attention).

Thanks

It shouldn't be a problem getting some Shenandoah Valley Cat Herders to go riding with. Partying on a Thursday night might be a little more difficult.

Day

I haven't firmed anything up yet. Just thought the campground would be less full of people we might annoy on Thursday. Friday is ok with me. I just want to be ride my ass off, drink beer at night, sober up for the drive home on Sunday.
Thats why I was looking for reports on the Campground, see if they were receptive to something like this/us. Before I call.

I will probably see those boneheads at the ICE rally in State Collage end of Febuary. Hope to have things firmed up by then, see if any of them want to go down to show you semi southern boys how its done (no, not with my sister).
The DAMN reunion looks cool. May stop by on my way down.

Mark,

There are plenty of camping options in our area. One you might want to look at is Natural Chimneys in Mount Solon. It is the campground the Shenandoah 500 is run out of every year and is next to GW national forest with practically endless riding. They have their main camping area and a seperate more secluded loop that might be more what you're looking for.

Yes, myself and most of the other "catherders" live within a few miles of there. It might take someone coming all the way from PA to get us all together. We got that catherder name honestly.
