Hello ADV Riders

I am proud to announce the annual European ADVrally in Norway 2010

The start of the Rally will be Sunday 27.06.2010
Location : we meet up nearby Fagernes

We can stay in tents or cabins here.
I will send out an list in April/May for reservation of the cabins.
We stay here for 3 nights making lokal Rides and returning in the evening.

I am planing an 3-4 day Adventure ride for the rest of the rally, with sleep over in tents or cabins. (new location each day)
We ride from 200-600 km each day depending on the group and route I set.

I will send out an new list in April/May.

As for groups and rides, I will recomend to split up in groups max 8-10 people. (For the first half of the rally)
Maps with trails and roads, set up in camp and people come together and make groups.

I can not be an guide for 40-50 people,so this must be organiced by smaller groups when we come to basecamp.

There will be some payment on the roads,as they are private and they let us go there we have to set good example and pay the toll.

it will be mostly hard gravel roads, real high speed adventure riding:-)
80-90% gravelroads..
I can also arrange driving on the local MX trail.

I will post an new tread under this one where you can put your name in if you wish to join this Rally. (This to get an ca. number of people joining)

I will send out an new list in April/May.

Just in case You made a small mistake with dates; 25.6.2010 is friday and also the weekend of Midsummer. By any change do You mean 25.7.2010?

Damn! I was really interested in this but alas it is too close to an already booked vacation with SWMBO. I will continue to lurk in case things change but hope there will be a next time?

After the Rally, I'm heading to Garmisch for BMW Motorrad days (2-4 July).

I offer a spare room in Stuttgart to anyone wanting to tag along for that.

What is the terrain going to be like. I mean is there deep mud?

Hope I see you in the summer,
it will be mostly hard gravel roads, real high speed adventure riding:-)

I have seen you on the Triumph, and you will have no problem driving that in norway.

80-90% gravelroads
