Someone, anyone...

Mudguts and Partmaker (or someone who has ordered from them) - could you please post an exact description of what you are each selling? Or confirm my guess below.

This is what I think you are selling:
Mudguts: New steel upper tank bolt. Use the stock(or v2) bushing with this bolt.

Partmaker: Aluminum or Delrin bushings for top (and bottom?)

I really appreciate what y'all have done and I would love to give you guys some money... but not until I know what I am buying.

Michael

Thanks Mudguts. You mean the bolt - correct? I still use the stock bushing with it.

As I understand it, Partsmaker sells a replacement for the bushing up top but I am unclear on whether he also sells a replacement bushing for the bottom. Can anyone - Partsmaker included - confirm?

690 bolts

My cousin was riding a rented 690 in Costa Rica when it snapped in half. Couple of luggage straps and we were good to go. Nice to see a solution.

Looks like the fracture started on one side (smooth right side) and moved in, then it finally tore (rough left side). Classic. Unbelievable.

I got my new bolts from Mudguts last night!
