There's a lot of tags up to this point, IF they are well defined it's easy to do a search, if you plan it, it's easy to avoid duplicates though I've done a repeat myself by mistake.

Beautiful weather this weekend for riding and several events going on around the state, including tagging. Ride safe!
The main reason was because I also assumed a place could only be tagged once. There will be folks joining the game that are bound to use previous spots. By reopening, I mean let a new tagger keep it. But since there is not a "One time only" rule, nevermind.

And the blitz tag was an idea to get together as a group to ride. The tag game would have been the reason, plus, it may generate some interest, and get a few more involved.

By the way, where the hell is Drowsy Dave?!?

It's hard to know whether something's been tagged. Some images have been deleted since the thread started almost 4 years ago. And some aren't labeled well. While searching if the geographic center of TN has been tagged I only found it listed as "some phallic monument thingy," when everybody knows it looks more like a gigantic inverted stone carrot. In fact, that's what we call it in the 'Boro. "The Carrot."

New tag. If it's already been posted, speak up. I have an alternate. Or go get it before anybody says anything.

Clues as needed. Lemme know.

This has NOTHING to do with the current tag!

Was back around Clifton today, had to get another pic of the first tag I tried to get, in the worst weather, and still got Bruced! I think the tag started on page 40. Great weather today.

I could use a clue regarding the current tag.

As for the Clifton tag, that was a great day! The girls were gone that weekend. I happened to wake up about 3:30 AM. Just on a whim I decided to see if any clues had been posted. There was, and I went and got it. It was still dark when I get there (Portland). I decided to just ride for a while to get the next tag. It's a long way from Portland to Clifton!

Yeah after 24 hrs and a beautiful Sunday apparently not a gimme, even for locals. Step 1: Proceed due east from the M'boro courthouse. Step 2: Keep your eyes open.

If you make it to the biker bar across from the bicycle shop, star over and try again.

Or, take a hint from this guy>>>

well, call me a dunce, but I still have no idea where this is. I went to the 'boro, rode E Main all the way to Lasseter. I don't recall seeing a biker bar or a bicycle shop. I saw several smoke shops, but no joy there. I think I rode every alley in town. I asked 5 different people, none of them had any idea where this was.

And I managed to drop my bike. No damage though...

is it before or after MTSU?

are you sure you know East from West?

I been known to confuse left and right.

This "east" is toward the sunrise. If that changes, we're all screwed.

Go past Lasseter, you'll get to the stoplight at Rutherford. After the stoplight, be alert. You can turn around at the biker bar if you miss it, but it'll be esp hard to find going back the other direction.

Darn, you got a nice looking bike too, sorry you dropped it. Hate when that happens in public.

thanks. it was just a parking lot thing. I attempted to rollover a little gravel patch. Didn't think anything of it - but the gravel was deep, and the front end slid out to the left, bike fell to the right. I almost caught it, but not this time. There was a young guy watching the whole thing, not 20 feet away. He walked toward me and I thought he was going to offer to help pick it up, but instead he just reached in his pick up and got a pack of smokes and walked away.

I picked it up by myself. I put the sidestand down first, but I could not rest it on the stand because it just sank into the gravel. I had to hold the bike up while walking around behind it to get to the left side. Once I managed to get it into neutral, I managed to get it back on the asphalt with a great heave!

Numbnuts just stood there sucking his cancer stick and watching the whole thing.

There's a gravel pulloff across from a shop called The Friends Tobacco Discount at the corner of Arnold Lane and East Main. Sounds like the kinda guy who shops there. Could check that on google street view and see if that's where your observer was.
