Well, it's the right number and it's in LBL but like Dr. John once said, I was in the right place but the wrong time, or rather wrong mile marker.

Since that's the wrong tag, I believe it's been longer than 4 days.

Middle Tennessee pixel hunt

Apparently someone is preoccupied and desperately needs to give a more substantial clue. l

"I know exactly what you mean" (in the voice of Morpheus in the Matrix )

I had no idea where, besides LBL to look for the 206 tag and did not intend to search for it without a better clue. A mile marker on Natchez Trace is one thing but on or around the Trace in LBL is another.
I just happened to pass this mile marker by luck and remembered "206" so I took the shot.
The reason I was out there was to make the second border tag after tagging the Cordell Hull tag in that "other thread". IF I happened to see this Hunt Tag then extra points for me.

But what you may miss is the coordinates I left at the bottom of the picture, this is a clue to the tag in the "other" thread. Peg that, BUT when you get close remain on that road without turning left or follow the road signs.
Yea, it's a long way but you will find a treasure.

As far as the 206 tag in this Hunt, well, just more info is need.

You are on the right track with looking in LBL.... it's not a mile marker though, it's a road number. I know where it is, and I fully intended to grab it and bring it back closer to civilization before we left LBL on Sunday, but it slipped my mind.

This will help find it, as google maps has an actual name for it, but this map has the number.

That looks like Banjo Country! I would suggest you take your DS and an extra tank of fuel.

Just spit-balling ideas here...

Since there are 2 tag threads now and they have both been pretty quiet lately, why not modify one of them as far as the rules go?

I for instance don't have as much time as I would like available for riding and I just can take 5 hours or more to round trip myself out to Clarksville to get the current tag.

So what if we turned this one into a "Theme" tag similar to the "Show us a picture of you bike with..." threads in the pics pics pics forum?

The other rules would still apply, no file photos, have to post the new tag theme within 24 hours or you're disqualified, have to actually ride your bike there etc. I think it would encourage more riding and tagging. Basically after capturing the current tag, your new tag becomes a theme. if you post a picture of your bike parked in front of the courthouse in Franklin, someone could claim that tag by posting a tag in front of the Lynchburg courthouse for example.

When you post your new tag, state what the theme is of course in case it isn't clear from your picture.

Maybe even add a "dibs" rule since the riding distances could obviously be much shorter. If you post "dibs" on a new tag you have 4 hours to post a new one. After that it's an open tag again, and only one "dibs" per tag.

What say the masses?

I, for one, am not a fan of "theme tag" games. I had planned to go get the current tag last Wednesday, but those plans fell thru. I have learned a lot about Middle Tennessee because I have had to find specific tags.

I was going to get it yesterday but Brenda reminded me that that new Gelato place in Tullahoma was open on Saturday so we changed direction.
