Question Question

So this might be a dumb question and awnsered but what is with the different color outfits with the honda team? Is it the factory riders and the speed brain honda riders?
Thanks

Not a dumb question and you are correct, they are all technically "factory" riders, but the difference is the Speedbrain supported riders vs. the HRC supported riders.

Not dumb, but well spotted and very probably the answer.

Barreda and Speedy are still Speedbrain, sponsored by them and Monster and managed by Wolfgang Fischer.

Helder, Javier and Sam are the original HRC, with Phillipe Zanol, who is not back riding after his accident last year.

There are several stories, the main one being that HRC wanted Barreda and that this was the only solution - all or nothing, bike excluded that is

Can't imagine there will be any inter team rivalry though, not with 4 of them serious contenders

Out of the 5 HRC team - just an opinion, but they are like arseholes (assholes) - everyone has one

Hi!

Im part of Sebastián Palma team, Can-am team rider Sebastián Palma won the title of the 4×4 class, placing fifth in the overall quad category in the previous Dakar 2013.

Dakar Rally is the maddest race on earth and next year the best candidate for winning the title of the 4×4 class is Sebastián. The goal is to be among the three fastest guy in the overall quad category.

I really hope Sam does well in this one, he has been pushing for a long time now.

IMO HRC's videos are 100x better than last year. I didn't see this one up yet.
