As I know he was riding a Honda but not for the HRC team. He was part of the Jolly Racing Team (proudly Italian ) with Jordi Arcarons as team manager. I am not sure he was still with one of their bikes at the Desafio though...

Errr, I think doyle pointed out he will be on a big bore Speedbrain for the 450+ championship.

Right. Well almost... Because he already is with Speedbrain as you can see from this photo album from his website. In fact this shows that he competed at the Desafio Inca not with Honda but with a Speedbrain production racer. Didn't know there was a "big bore" model.

To clarify a little confusion, Chavo is again racing the over 450 class in order to sew up the championship. Rules dictate the winner must contest 5 of 6 rallies. Points wise he cannot be caught but in order to secure the championship, he has to at least start Morocco.

Oh and no more used mousse...hard lesson learned.

Points wise, no one can catch him in the over 450 championship, he needs only start the rally in that class since the championship is not only points, but participation. In order to be champ, a rider must accumulate the most points but also start at least 5 rallies in the year.

Earlier in the year he was with Jolly and Arcarons, but that was only a 3 rally deal.

Sorry, I got the wrong picture. I just noticed the #106 was wrong. Here is the correct one with #8. Same moto, same look tho!

With the Merzouga Rally just over a week away Pyndon is on his way south already ! None of the glamour of flying in to the nearest airport here - he has a 2,300 mile drive to get to the start ! And then the same to get home again after the finish .........

But he has a fairly trick and well thought out van to travel in
