Peter Leaving Mini for Peugeot

Apparently team orders at the last Dakar did Not Please him very much. Peterhansel is going to Peugeot...

Peugeot have the budget for hire two or three cars. Sébastien Loeb, focused on his conversion WTCC with Citroën refused. However, Carlos Sainz, who is a second victory on the Dakar, could be interested. But it is still linked to Volkswagen. On the car, little information circulating. The base should be a two-wheel drive buggy.

Ok so being a French company it certainly makes sense, but with the current press on struggling Peugot the budget allocation is strange nevertheless it looks like the f5.rumours during Dakar were spot on?

So, €24,000/- - seems like they got there first. Don't know what the Honda target was, but it looks like benchmark is set for the basic model for the serious rider ++ of course

Nice find!

I have to say I'm surprised at the price - especially when the old 450RFR was €29,000 (+ VAT @ 20%)...

I imagine KTM have priced it low(er) to ensure customers aren't swayed when Honda release their customer bike - I can't see Honda matching that price-point, unless they all want to lose money!

Sam Sumpotentialland jumps clear of the HRC trainwreck and lands in the orange crate.

meanwhile the much maligned BamBam goes to seek counsel from the french Yoda in the forgotten land of Andora... is he considering the blue side of the force?

Ha! - although the irony being Bam Bam might well hold it together long enough to actually win on the Yamaha?!

What am I saying... never gonna happen, never gonna happen...
