Will ride for...

I am not surprised that HRC changing structure at all.
They are bleeding money all over the place. At the moment KTM's leading rider is Coma were HRC had... most of the team as a leading rider.

It surprises me that they let Sam go (or perhaps that Sam left the building). I don't see Dakar 2014 ''mistake'' playing a role here, most of the riders went down the canyon, he made it back. Damaged the exhaust and probably resulted in the engine to fail. No hard feelings.

Honda will win Dakar. Sooner or later they will. It is two wheel motorsport, they have done it before and they will bend the rules, change them, pay everything and everyone needed to get into No1.

Suppose that Bam Bam and Speedy stay with HRC, they are the riders that may actually win. Bam Bam will not if he keeps the same method. So I think this year ALL the teams will focus on strategy, keeping it together etc. Except KTM of course... They have the knowledge and riders to make it happen and make it look easy. KTM have Coma, Jordi did a brilliant job keeping it together and now with Sam on board they have secured their future. Despres for some reason is not as happy with the bike as he wants to. At least this is my view. Navi mistakes, tower problems, power of the bike... Whatever.

Having seen what Viladoms pulled last year, I will not be surprised if people change teams at the last minute

Looks like a very good carreer move for Sam.

I am speculating as much as the next man butd on't believe HRC will ditch Barreda. Honda strategy (or lack of it) will prolly continue the same this year. Just my conviction, anyway.

I am more intrigued at what ill happen at KTM...

In 2014 Marc Coma + Jordi Viladoms have shown how it's done (like Despres had done with Ruben Faria the previous year). A serious two man team, no doubts who is nr 1, can do a 1-2 look easy. I would think Marc Coma will want to continue to race like that, and JV is his natural water carrier. But Sam is reportedly "Excited to be working with Marc Coma"

Chaleco is the eternal "heart over reason", will he continue or move to cars?(as some rumour had it some time ago?)

Is Ruben to race alongside Sam, both in a "libero" position?

Intriguing strategies...

Don't ask me, I don't have any red info any more

But if I was to speculate I think HRC are looking for a signature

He is a very happy and content young man - should be good then, both KTM and HRC both believe they have the hottest young Dakar prospects

Could be either... both? Could be Chaleco also? (Though he could always do the "buy a bike" program with his sponsors behind him. Pretty much the way I understand it was in any case?
