Healing message...

Hi Manny! What have you been doing to yourself mate...?! Throwing yourself at the scenery?

I know that it might sound like this place is pronounced Biv, oooh... WHACK ! my friend... but it's no need to take things so literally!

Heal well and we look forward to see you on the mend and on the gas again... soon!

ciaou...

Troy

Feels to me like people are hurting themselves in an effort to 'fill the gap' between Dakars!

I have the solution!! Join me at the 3-day DAKAR SERIES 'Desafio Inca 2014' in September! I am planning on going myself and have reservations set aside for 8 (just in case) and I have 10 motos available!

PM me! We'll make it an ADV friends thing! Chaleco just won the Desafio Guarani, and I hope he will be at this one too. Chavo told me aways back that he is sure to make it too! Would be great fun riding the dunes, grilling in the desert under a tent while we watch the 'best of the best' romp past in full competition! Last year was great, but this one could be better!

From Simon Pavey's Facebook page, looks like Llewellyn was accepted this year.

"Huge news for us here as we can officially announce Team Pavey will be at Dakar 2015. Llewellyn and I have both had our entries accepted."

Seems as though they are giving the new "Puglie" a workout on the gravel tracks of Chateau Lastours...

Good catch possibly one of the first "re-thinks" the peugeot tech's have to work through on the new PUG. It's hot in the sth France/mediterranean at the moment... but nowhere near as hot and dry (and high) as they'll be faced with in Chilé/Argentina*...? At least RG is out pummelling the Gordini around in the desert out by Parker and Victorville/Barstow on a regular basis.

When will the frogglie get it's baptism on some real off roiad stuff? Hmmm? I'm keen to hear/see what it goes like in some dunes/off piste... when they get it over to west sahara for some tests on some real "Dakar" terrain. It's pretty hot over there at the moment too (imagine they will do something before the summer heat extremes pass?).

*On other subject not directly related to DAKAR... but is. I wonder how the reported financial state of the Argentine Gov't and possibility of "imminent bankruptcy" might affect the big show in January?

Next thing you know they go for peltier oil coolers
Heat was the largest problem last year indeed Troy, and I expect it to be the same in 2015. Difficult both for man and machine...
