Right - even I could do that. Now try to put a different one into a thread on another website. That's what kicked my butt.

Bottom line of my siggy. How do you think that got there? I had a brandy new PC and even brandier newer upgrade kybd. The Ol' Pro Dakar F5ers told me what to do when I was mousin' 'n' clickin' my tits off.

Okay it looks like the Dakar 2012 will definitely be in Peru as well!

It was a rumor last year and during the Dakar this year, we had no more evidence other than a newpaper article here in Lima reporting that the ministerio of Sport in Peru had agreed to sponsor 3 million dollars for three stages in Peru during the Dakar 2012.

Well this last week we spotted the Dakar scout vehicle in the town of Marcona, 450km south of Lima in a very rocky section of the Atacama desert (away from the famous Nazca lines). We are 100% sure the route will run a good distance to the west of the lines in this part of Peru. What it also means in that we will be having some SERIOUS dune climbs and descents to observe further to the south. You see there are huge dune fields separated by deep valleys that you have to drop into.

When I get some time I will plot and post an possible (read likely) route.
