No money for a Vectra KTM 450, but also no money for a new Sherco, looks like they gave him a second hand jobbie. Maybe one of Casteu old practice bikes?

LOL!

Plenty of Dutch sponsors about in Motorsports these last few years, I guess he needs a different type of manager to make that final step..And get a brand new Sherco to boot

Lets hope the gearbox lasts...

Guys (and gals), does anyone know of a place to start looking for daily bivvy to bivvy transportation solutions for the 2012 edition?

I'm looking for a cheap way to follow the contenders for the 2 weeks in question..

Any leads you know of?

If youre interested you can hire a car here in Lima for about USD75/day with driver. A couple of us will have bikes in southern Bolivia and will be following the rally on bikes for the bit in norther chile and Peru.

Thanks BlueBull, but I *might* be there semi officially (I can't say more at this moment), so I will have to be around each day's bivouac for sure. I know there are people who provide similar services each year, but I don't know where to start (apart from this thread obviously )...

I guess Peruvian crews will jump on the boat this year as well, if you catch any such information please put it in here...
