Just set your phone face up, you'll notice the green flashing notification light on the top right portion of the face.

I can get the pics to photobucket and/or webshots. I can copy the url for the pic. But when I get to advrider and need to paste the link, there doesn't seem to be a "ctrl-v" function on this phone.

and yet it seems some people can do it - but how?

I tried Verizon's on line tutorials - useless.
After you copy the link go to advrider, click new reply, inside the orange box where you enter text press and hold the screen. You will then see a few options such as "Select all", "Select text", "Cut all", "Copy all", "PASTE"...

I do this with the on-screen keyboard not the physical keyboard.

Let me know how it works out for ya.

there doesn't seem to be any way to get the link from flickr, even using the flickr droid app

webshots will show the link but when you try to copy it, it does not scroll left and give you the entire link.

I'll give it a try when she gets hom
e

I just c&p ed the above on a Droid. As you can see by the errant "e" I had some issues with this process. Overall, It did work as advertised.

edit: everything below is from a real computer...

I copied part of my post, pasted it into the reply and then selected the pasted text and clicked on the quote icon. I missed the e at the end of "home" but other than that it worked. It seemed a little more involved than on my phone (iPhone). In particular having to use the menu button to get to "select text" and "paste".

I did it with the on-screen keyboard just like R12GS HOOLIGAN said.

Cheers.

Mine is occasionally a bit slow to recognize position changes, but it seems to work for my purposes. I did play around with the angle settings quite a bit, so that I could do things like rest the phone on top of my notebook computer in the docking station. It sits at a shallow angle, but I want the phone to sleep there, too.

I didn't have much of an issue with sensitivity as I set it to fast rate which worked for me. However on my Eris, if I orient the phone between 1 o'clock and 7 o'clock it doesn't recognize the angle at all. So if I am laying on my right side and reading the screen there is no angle I can use to keep it on.

I got a new Motorola Devour yesterday and I'm liking it so far, but it appears that Key Ring and Google Goggles aren't available anymore...or I'm just doing it wrong which is a great possibility.

pintail so the lady can keep an eye on me when i'm on the bike. it calms her to know i'm still moving and that i got to where i was going. my tracks is another good one. assistant free.

if anyone hasn't started hacking/reprogramming you don't know what you're missing out on. i just put android 2.1, recovery program, rooted the phone, live wallpaper and tweaked some stuff. what a difference.

there was a couple that i tried today. just go into the market and see what ones get good reviews.

i deleted them off my phone cause i dpn't usually write checks, i use my card everywhere. i use assistant free to monitor my account to make sure no screwy charges go through and to make amental note of what checks have been cashed if i did write any. it syncs with your bank accounts, ebay, paypal, visa what ecer you can pretty much think of and gives a detailed report and balance. much easier way to keep track of the account and just let the bank do all the math.

Very nice, was actually looking for something like that. Only downside is, on a long hike or bike ride, the GPS sucks down some serious battery juice, so if you were out all day, you'd run out of battery.

Radar now is one of the apps I use regularly, as crazy as the weather is here in CO.
