It's one of the coldest winters in 30yrs in the UK right now

My Dad has strong ties to SA, used to work in Johannesburg back during the apartheid years and although he lives back in the UK he owns a house in Simon's Town

Been twice in the last few years for a month or so at a time, desperately missing it this year, I recognise almost all the locations in the photos and I can tell anyone reading that it really is that beautiful, if not moreso

On day I'll ride down there from the UK, it's either that or Mongolia for the "sometime in the future" megatrip


Just a shame everyone seems to ride those funny BMW things down there...
