Be careful ordering this filter. I got one and unless I'm totally missing something it won't work. It's about 5" longer then the stock element.

Interesting. That does look like the filter on my buddies 690RR, but Maurizio used a different one earlier in this thread.

I saw the pics of your lucky buddy's bike some time ago, and when I searched through the parts catalog of the '09-'10 690 RFR I was surprised of the different setup...

Anyway the KTM parts I've listed and ordered fit the 690 E perfectly, and I wrote about my doubts on the Twin Air fitment chart I've posted. Ehm... Almost wrote...:

That's probably it, the Rally was a 2008 model. They must have changed the air filter parts.

I purchased the TT "dashboard" for my Vector, as I wanted to have some feedback about reserve and FI warning light.

In the 690 megathread there is a post of mine with some infos on wiring those warning lights:
