Are planning to drop by his house and punch him in the face for doing that to that poor bike?

I've....

... seen the bike here in Texas several times. Someone at a bike meet mentioned the owner lives in the Austin area.

I was thinking flat track? You don't see many BMW flat trackers for some reason...

I kind of like it. I've been getting into this steampunk thing. It's sort of an upbeat Goth thing. Totally form over function- but fun.
Anyway, I'm hoping to see some better pictures.

it's not like /5s are rare bikes. If somebody wants to chop one up to make something cool then more power to 'em. I like it.

on the other hand, there's a special place in hell for guys that chop up old harleys

I think steampunk is neat too.

I think the beemer airhead is probably the most steam-tastic mill to use for one of those. All in all it's a pretty good interpretation of steampunk.

I like the use of I beam and the simple tank. Needs moar brass.

Any pics of the right side? I'd like to see the 5' long driveshaft and whether it's inside a swingarm or not.
