Did you put in Amsoil, change every 15K miles which = about 30 years

Put a quart of Honda 10-30, had 500 miles on it from last January!

I'll copy what I got from tbirdsp, who copied it from the Scoot to Thrill FB page, posted by Dan's wife:

"Just got home from the hospital.... Dan hit a deer tonight on his way home from work and is in ICU.... He has a severe concusion, at least 8 broken ribs, a punctured lung, and a broken collar bone...... He was found by LPD unresponsive and has no idea what has happened, he thinks he is in the hosp for pain!!! A truama surgeon put a tube in his lung to drain it and help re-inflate the right lung and it looks like Mr Dan will be spending the holiday in the hosp..... The neuosurgeon and Dr Sumoni are supposed to see him in the morning and come up with a plan to fix him up..... I am most worried about the blood on his brain and how it is affecting his thought process... I know it is just too early to be panicky over this but after loosing a Grandson to head trauma, I am probably over reacting.... Please keep him in your prayers......."

I just got back from seeing Dan and Merrie. Dan is in surgery to have some shiny new hardware installed in his clavicle (collar bone). He said he was ok with getting patted down in airports from now on. He is tired but has his good sense of humor. He should be out of ICU this afternoon.

Get well soon zoid! Welcome to the TSA Patdown club

I think Bryan West, Fifth can verify that?? Dr. Kate might check on him before she heads home.

Yes, Bryan West. Kate can look, and know what room...but she is at bryan east. I will probably wait a day or two before going over. Maybe sneak him some turkey and a home brew

Update from fb:
Bryan West room 400
Surgery on clavicle went good. Dan is still pretty out of it. Will be in hospital for at least a week.

Bad news, but good that recovery seems to be starting. Deer have been everywhere, but I've thought / hoped fewer were moving with the end of rifle season on sunday. Crap.

According to Merrie, he left work at about 8 and the LPD officer found him at 9:30. He was on his DR650. So at least it was the cheap bike

She also says he has lost short term memory for the time being, but not his sense of humor. They asked him why he was in the hospital, to which he replied "I'm pregnant"
