Shameless plug - my band "Thrift Shop Radio" is playing at Farren's Pub & Grill in Papillion again Sat Feb 2, 8 pm to midnight (note earlier time). We've learned some new songs, more classic blues, plus even some reggae-ish stuff and some others that are just out there

We are getting our registration together to enter the Blues Society of Omaha's "Nebraska Blues Challenge" competition.
Preliminary Rounds will take place March 24, April 7, April 21 & if needed, May 5. The finals will take place May 19. The winner will travel to Memphis in Jan 2014 to compete in the International Blues Challenge. More info TBA.

I wish I could play upright bass. Never tried, not sure I could now with my bad shoulder. I can cover most songs on electric bass - not "Johnny got a Boom Boom" though Some other great songs by Imelda:
Pulling the Rug
Bring my Cadillac Back
Mayhem (also the title of one of her albums. Bassist plays electric on that one)

Well got the CR done. Just have to put a chain on it and install a new painted fuel tank.

Now on to the next projec, which is going to be a bit of a pain, but should be cool when done.

That CR turned out really cool Aaron!



A friend has two boys he wants to teach to ride. He is looking for a small enduro that is street legal, and $1800 or less. Let me know if you see anything that would be good. (I told him klx 250)

They got a couple 2 stroke mx bikes, but he want's something to put a plate on. (I know, South Dakota plates.... I told him about that trick)

The Elisnore turned out great! It's an '82?? The Bultaco will be cool as well. Kinda love those vintage MXers.
