Damn you advNZer, because of you I'm going to fail my class. Instead of paying attention to the professor, I'm day dreaming about what would make a good response to your tag.

Thanks for the pictures of the "Capital of Cool". Just curious, is it possible to see the South Island from the North Island?

Update: Ohhhhhhh, I think I know what to do for the Tag

So the new tag is a photo of Tasmania?

Sorry, I wasn't paying attention!

The normal shot would be your bike with Tasmania in the background. The unusual shot would be of your bike from the ferry going to Tasmania.(for example)

I went to Tassie, by ferry, (with the car) in January.

The day I left, Queensland was under water, Melbourne was trying to be under water and North West Tassie was being washed away.

I have some photos somewhere from the ferry as we left Station Pier in Melbourne; you can barely see land.

Gotta correct you here - the series is called SuperRugby now and it features 15 teams. So Super15, if you like.

Back on topic:
I didn't think that this tag would stay ungrabbed for so long! There must me some unusual places somewhere.
I was about to grab it a few times now, but always backed off at the last moment thinking it would not be unusual enough...
Plus it has been raining non-stop and heavily since Monday. I am really sick of it, "jetskiing" 140k's a day. Wasn't able to get my gloves dry since Monday now.
And honestly I just don't wanna get off the bike, grab the camera and do photos in these conditions.
Maybe tonight.

OK, maybe that wasn't THAT unusual, but it was different ... LOL!

Fresh from an advrider trifecta (Richmond VA, Global, and North America!) .... I bring you the next tag.

I assume fruit is universal, so your bike in front of a berry farm. Orchards or other fruit growing businesses are also welcome.

I believe that there had to be 2 photos in this grab...
And even if "unusual" is in the eye of the beholder - the beholder in this case is advNZer?...
So shouldn't we wait for his ok?

BTW, I remember grabbing the orchard just a few weeks ago...
I could do a follow-up grab, though, to see the progression.

So, calling NZ! Or not?

Been in the single digits (day time temp) here for awhile. Minimum for this winter so far is -8.1c at my house , I guess that's not cold to someone used to riding on a glacier

Yeah ok, you win.

I admit that I am surprised!
Single digits - ok. (We had 6C this morning and it's supposed to be summer...)
But I did not know that it gets down to -8C down there. It doesn't that much colder here usually. We may have two weeks or so with -15C or less per winter, but not regularly and not in a row.
Back in Berlin it used to be -20C regularly... That was nasty.

So I guess I am impressed. That IS cold then.
