I nearly stuffed up!

I will explain further down...

First of all, a public ramp plus my bike:

A wider view, showing the remains of HMVS Cerberus (the breakwater).

Two other views of the same ramp from last time the tag was a boat ramp:

And just for fun, the view from a mile or so out from this ramp:

BTW, here's an aerial view of the ramp above. Login with username and password both abc1234.

New tag is a boat builder's yard, factory, or whatever premises they work from (preferably not a boring concrete factory with enormous injection moulding machines inside):

Aerial view for this one here.

And a bit of local history.

So how did I nearly stuff up?

Well, I've got a few boat ramps to choose from around here, one of which is Pompei's ramp, into Mordialloc Creek just around to the right of the view shown above. (I'm actually standing on the bridge approach with the creek to my right)

Trouble is Pompei's isn't a public ramp; it's privately owned with access only by an annual fee of $110 (for the key). Also, like most of the public ramps on this side of the bay, it's on the wrong side of the highway bridge, so it's not much use for my boat. (Don't get it? Look at the photo of my boat above and think about it...)

Grab; Boat builders premises

This place is not the most photogenic, yep a boring building, but it's a boat builders workplace. Let me know if I need to try again.
Greentop Creek Boats are used all over and have a great reputation for quality. Creek boats are used in shallow water by folks that hunt waterfowl, fisherman, and wildlife photographers etc.
There wasn't anyone around so I wasn't able to get any pics or info on the boats they build. Just the jig setup pic. Does look like it could be injection molding too. I was hoping they were still building nice wooden ones...

Tag

A group (3 or more pcs.) of military vehicles + your bike.

I know, less bike, more TAG!

These trucks, satellites , equipment and choppers are all for sale in Albemarle NC. For anyone interestested in mv's, this is a worthwhile place to visit.

Some of it is a little abused...

Seems to me you've got a picture of your bike with a buncha pickup trucks, not necessary military vehicles..

The other pic of your bike with two decommissioned choppers..

The other pics don't even have bike..

The 1st pic, which is normally the tag pic (correct?), shows a M1009 Blazer, 2- M1008 Pickups, 1 chopper, a m105 trailer and the service truck (with the orange light on top) for which I have a pic of the data plates and the bike together.

Everything green in the pics is a decommissioned surplus item not just the choppers. I had "decommissioned" in the descprition originally, but removed it because it doesn't matter to me.
They are military vehicles and no your pic wont fly.

Actually, both of my choppers fly, none of your vehicles fly.

This is true, most of the aircraft that Jim Henry gets, end up in a static display. He's got a couple of pieces in the aeronautical museum in Charlotte.

I must be slipping, I only just noticed that's another Sherpa even the same colour scheme as mine. We've got Sherpa-only tagorama over in the Yahoo Sherpa group, just have a look at the front page.
