Thoroughly lame grab

Personally, I'd give this a "zero" and DQ it. Cracked me up. Had to do it.

Had to walk about 15' to get it.

Feel free to DQ it.

Since you asked me to...DQ'd...

PS> That shit'll kill you. Quit now lest ye brain be made to like the crack chemicals they lace those cancer sticks with. Or at least smoke natural tobacco if you feel the need to smoke. There's a tobacco field not more than a mile from me...I can get you the real thing.

And in case the mini-rant get's misconstrued. I've been an on-again off-again smoker most of my life. Off now for the better part of a decade and much better for it. I rue the day back in 9'th grade that some schmuck convinced me smoking couldn't hurt. Boy were they wrong.

No problem. Expected and deserve all of that. On both parts.

Grab withdrawn.

Funny. It never clicked in my head to think of cigarettes for this tag and Camels were my brand...I was hooked on the Camel Cash marketing campaigns.

Read and appreciated the post prior to editing, by the way.

Yeah, I've got Camel crap around here from those days. The only thing I really like is the pilsner glasses.

So no one other than WB can find an animal from the African Continent? I may have to let it go on the Camel Cigarettes to keep things moving but I do know where to find real live zebras in the triangle (30 minute ride from dtwn and probly soon to be a TriTOR tag).

Do I need to loosen the requirements some or should I let it sit?

New Zealand has fiords, but not near Wellington.

Australia has camels, the only wild camels left in the world (yes, yet another feral animal some idiot released
here in the 1800s), we even export camels to the Middle East, but they're nowhere near Melbourne.

But Australia also has bottle shops:

There are words in English which you keep hearing but may never quite have learnt what they are; particularly regional words. So while out here in TROTW (the rest of the world) we get lots of exposure to American film and TV, this leaves gaps in our knowledge. It took me years to figure out that a girl's "bangs" were her fringe. I'm still not sure what hominy or grits are...

So take the example of a June bug. Some sort of beetle that comes out in summer in North America and occasionally gets mentions in the movies, but never a closeup shot. And no one ever pointed at a critter when I was a kid and told me "thats a June bug".

Because of course, we don't call them June bugs, they're Christmas beetles! They fly around Christmas time, displaying their colourful wings. Panic not, the tag is not a June bug.

There is a tree native to coastal areas of the New Zealand North Island and common in similar areas of Australia, South Africa, California and Spain (all the places you find eucalypts too now I think of it) called a Pohutukawa. It's a large tree with a wide canopy which grows well in sandy soils in warm coastal climates. It flowers profusely in late December, making a very spectacular sight.

Naturally it is not known as a "June tree"; it's a New Zealand Christmas tree.

These are all fairly modest examples, and they'll look much better in another week or so:

Here's a closeup of the flowers:

So we're looking for an outdoor Christmas tree, preferably in full flower, but with artificial decorations and lights, if that's how your climate forces you to do it. If you're stuck with the lights and decorations option, it will probably go dark fairly early, so make it a night shot please to show us the lights?

That would be pretty easy anywhere within about 3000 miles of here, but I want to see more trees in bloom!
Good tag!

You should watch the movie "True grit" !
Then you should know what it means - and it's a great movie.

Nice Tag, btw.
I still wish I had a bike.
