The only thing I can find locally that even comes close to this tag is one we used in the TriTOR -> it might not be a proper Ford but it's about the same as the tag shot.

That's far from being underwater at the moment... I think it's at least a foot or two out of the water, if I'm not mistaken.

Low water bridge

Submarine bridge

A closer view. There is a concrete slab all the way across.

A Ford....not a Chevy

It's called Island Ford off Island Ford Rd. 38.785887, -78.393036

Better shot looking across the river. You can make out the road coming out of the river just to the left of the painted tree.

It mainly gets used by a couple tractors to haul hay across the river. It may be possible by someone on a tall bike during the driest part of the summer but the rocks are slick and it's crotch deep for most of the way.

We'll just pretend you could ride your bike across, ok?

Right now it's chest deep.

New tag...a wooden foot bridge.

Bonus points for a nice little creek going under the bridge.

Looks like you had fun with the Ford tag.

I've got a wooden foot bridge in my back yard...crossing over my fish pond. The dogs use it when playing tag more than us humans. And I've got a second one out in the woods on a walking trail. But that may be too easy for a grab. Might have to search around for something a bit more out of the way.

My bikes too much of a big pig for that kind of riding....now if I had something smaller I'd be all over it.

Yeah, and I don't even like Fords!

The one in the picture gets "just" low enough in the summer to cross with a TALL bike if you don't slip on the VERY slippery rocks...then you would be screwed.
That being said I have never tried it and I have only seen a couple big tractors moving hay bails across in the summer.

Wooden Foot Bridge Grab

We don't have many "hills" around these parts so this is about what we get for foot bridges...and I didn't include the ones @ my house.

With dry stream

On the way to the mailbox

Thoroughly lame grab

Personally, I'd give this a "zero" and DQ it. Cracked me up. Had to do it.

Had to walk about 15' to get it.

Feel free to DQ it.

Since you asked me to...DQ'd...

PS> That shit'll kill you. Quit now lest ye brain be made to like the crack chemicals they lace those cancer sticks with. Or at least smoke natural tobacco if you feel the need to smoke. There's a tobacco field not more than a mile from me...I can get you the real thing.

And in case the mini-rant get's misconstrued. I've been an on-again off-again smoker most of my life. Off now for the better part of a decade and much better for it. I rue the day back in 9'th grade that some schmuck convinced me smoking couldn't hurt. Boy were they wrong.

No problem. Expected and deserve all of that. On both parts.

Grab withdrawn.

Funny. It never clicked in my head to think of cigarettes for this tag and Camels were my brand...I was hooked on the Camel Cash marketing campaigns.
