Some of us have different ideas what makes ideal riding temps

I'd say 39F would be much more comfortable than 39C but both would make just fine riding.

Unfortunately here it is 20F and snowing

Hah...bought my RTW bike today. Haven't been tagging but put the D606's to a little bit of a mud test. OK. I knew the bike would perform, just wanted to play a bit.

If the farm animals aren't grabbed tomorrow by early evening I'll go out and get a picture perfect picture of the sunset over a particular farm with particularly cool farm animals (that is if it isn't too cloudy). If it's cloudy I'll just get some cool farm animals and move the tag along.

I'm not sure, to be honest. Had a pretty bad crash in the first week of September, which cost the lives of my bike and an Opel Corsa. I slipped out of a right turn and crashed into the oncoming car frontally. Mighty impact that was.
I have no idea how I got out of that in one piece. Guess my time hadn't come yet.
Looking back at things, I certainly should be at least dead.
But well, I was lucky - so life goes on!
Only drawback is that my financial situation does not allow me to get another bike. I fear it will not be possible in the nearer future, maybe not even in 2012.
This is really really tough. I have been riding since I was 18, never took more than some weeks break. I really really miss riding.

But one fine day I'll be back and tagging!
In the meantime I enjoy your pictures and stories.
