Tag

Taken from the same spot, a swimming pool. And I'd like to nominate myself for the laziest tag shot of the day.

That's alright....I pulled one of those yesterday and didn't post it. Went to my favorite pawn shop to pick up some ammo for a range day this week. Took a photo that I intended to use as the grab which also had something in it that I intended to use as the new tag. It was a cool photo so I figured (at first) that no one would mind the same photo being used twice.

Hadn't even thought about a tag until after I had arrived at my pawn shop and remembered that it was the standing wildcard...after pondering it all afternoon I decided it was just too lame to post that up and left it for someone who was actually looking.

The map I was looking at showed a pawn shop about 2 blocks from where I got the military vehicles for the N.A. wildcard tag. Wasn't there though... Was going to head to Durham for the TriTOR, but just kind of lost all inspiration after that...

I like to try and get multiple tags from one spot, but realize this one is pushing the lame-o-meter into the red.

I know where there's a single one, but it's about three times normal size. Does that count???

Looking for the triple.

Seems like I see them on just about every ride, but don't really make notes as to where. I know I saw at least one set, in addition to the huge I-beam one, when heading down to Erwin/Dunn for that battlefield museum a week or so ago. But that's about 12 miles to retrace and it's not happening before work in the a.m.

The three crosses symbolize Christ on the Cross flanked by the two thieves that were crucified with Him.

I went to a Lutheran church as a kid. Every year during Lent, our church (and a lot of Christian Churches) would place 3 wooden crosses on the front lawn. Just like putting the stable and statues on the lawn during Christmas.

This should be an easy grab during this time of the calendar.

3 Cross Grab x 2

Would you believe that both of these are on my daily commute....

For both of these I had to pull up on a very tight sidewalk on busy roads. Tricky pictures to get or I'd have the whole bike instead of just the mirrors and cockpit.

Where are these? I've been keeping any eye out around here, and know for a fact that I pass something that would qualify all the time, but just haven't committed any to memory.

These are on MLK and Poole Rds. There are actually a lot of triples out there seeing how popular the scene is.

Probably passed the ones on MLK recently then. Haven't been out Poole Rd. in a while. I know I've seen some recently.
