Although there seems to be snow cover to the N,S,E, &W of here, Toronto is sans snow and balmy this winter. Dunno why... perhaps that Gore fellow does??

Yeah whats the deal aren't you the one, being up in Canada, that is supposed to be covered in snow with your bike parked away for the winter?
Instead here we are in Virginia with a foot of snow again. |

You'd think!! In reality though, I ride all winter. Last winter I dumped her 4 times in the snow. The cost of mirrors, brake levers, footpegs etc is small... but it was worrying me; being "underemployed", I couldn't aford anything big/costly. This winter's been a breeze. Having said that, I put in 150 kms on a -15 C (5 F) day last week. Only once did my fingers hurt; when warm blood returned to them whilst thawing. Kinda painful. Kinda funny.

BTW: I know that finger-thawing thing pretty good. Used to ride regularly at -10 to -18°C back in Berlin. It hurts damn well. ![]() Can't wait to join the game..... Even if I also like the snow up here...

We had 1 entire week of snow.. and only about 6" yet the country still managed to come to a complete standstill... It's embarrasing... I want more snow like our neighbours in the Mainland... just enough to warrant snow tyres would be cool
Anyway who is going to a bridge? |

That inscription bridge tag is a tough one. I would think UK, Euro players would have an easier time finding one.
Plus there is snow and ice, everything is at a standstill here,at least for riding...

Found this thread a day late.
I went over 2 bridges that would have been good enough to move this tag along just the other day ..http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?p=12055462#post12055462 Got a little snow last night and I need to work the next few days but I will certainly be out again soon so I will keep checking back !

Now that's funny... Still no riding here and probably not for quite some time. Almost went down a dip this morning, with the car... Had to be towed out..

Tag grab:
RR bridge at University of Virginia that the students use to write all sorts of stuff on. It's constantly changing. Righteous messages and slogans up above, and the uneducated riff raff scrawl their graffiti down below by the tracks. I guess this should be a bridge with enough words on it even though it's not some sort of permanent inscription. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() New tag: Go find a historical town square and take a picture with your bike in it. Preferably one with lot's of brick, statues that include a soldier with a rifle and some cannons would be great but not necessary, we can't all live near charming southern downtowns full of reminders of that rebel spirit... No but seriously any old town square will work, look forward to seeing the town square in your neck of the woods. This is Court square in Charlottesville,Virginia,USA

Good one! Now if only I hadn't taken all my gear off, made dinner and cracked this brew, I'd be down for some more wild card tag this evening. I'll let this one lay...

I'm trying to see a new town square possibly very very far away, not one 25 miles away that I already know very well.
