R80 mono in Iowa
Sorry if this is not copacetic, kosher, or pc-whatever, but there is what appears to be a gorgeous R80 mono 1986 over on IBMWR. Asking $2,000, in Iowa....
I have nothing to do with it, except lust... and thought some inmate might appreciate this:

Looking for Airhead (OK/TX)
Looking for a strong running BMW Airhead in decent shape. Prefer /5 or /6 but open to all models. Like to find one in Oklahoma or Texas, but if the bike is right would travel further. Let me know.

Take a good look at that R80 monoshock just about your post. These are arguabley the best of the airheads (will need a circlip in the transmision). I have ridden the same model for about 10 years. Nice machines, and this one has a nice price. Just Sayn. Good Luck JZed |

1988 BMW R100GS R 100 GS enduro - $2900 in Nor CA
REPOST: selling my R100GS : enduro - $2900 (located in Sonoma, CA)
For sale: BMW GS 1988 white. about 23,000 miles Runs good. Has new tires. Recent oil change & filter. Hand guards, high fender, aftermarket seat Corbin, engine guards and bottom plate crash guard. Rear luggage racks and BMW cases with key. Supertrapp exhaust. New battery. Progressive suspension rear shock. Brake lining good front and rear, plenty of life, Galfer steel line. Brake rotor on front is lighter wave type disc and previous owner replaced new Brembo caliper. Rear drive shaft done recently. Tool kit (original) included. Service history at BMW SF or Desmoto. Came with salvage title from previous owner but I registered fine. Has some road rash on side guard and luggage but still functional. Spare fender and headlight cowl. Extra set of wheels offered with bike for extra: custom laced front 2.5"x19" (wider and smaller for street tires) would set the front down for more aggressive handling. NOT offered separately unless just the bike sells... I have receipts of work from myself and 2 previous owners. This is a great bike, has usual scuffs and scratches and I wish I could keep it but moving forces sale of extra moto. Email is preferred but I'm happy to answer any questions. I've had BMWs before, a R75/5 and a R1100S so I am certainly a fan and know how special these old airheads are. Serious inquiries only. Price is FIRM. I'm looking for the parts to create a dual-ATE front end on one of my /6's. If you have a whole setup, or a couple parts (namely, the right fork slider), let me know..
Edit: Nevermind! Just bought some. Thanks!
