My son is wanting a new Sako sniper rifle in .338 Lapua to use for 3 gun matches, and that is what the money from the /5 will be used to buy. Buy a great bike and help an aspiring shooter.

Wow, 3 Gun there is different than here. Most here, including me, use a AR-15 style semi for the rifle portion. I use iron sights but many use the ACOG. And a tactical shotgun and any kind of sidearm. How many shots a day will he need with the .338? That ammo's not cheap. Best of luck.

I had an F class rifle built in 6.5x47. I hate to admit it but it cost me more than I paid for my R100GSPD which is in beautiful shape. Good luck with the sale and hopefully you and your son find a good hammer.

Edit: just re-read the rules and ebay ads are no-no's :(

I may have a seat pan and foam for you - I'll have to take a look. Were you planning to use the fairing? If not, I may be interested in it.
Staintunes are $1200 a set!!! Overlanders are $700-$800.
Sometimes you'll pick up a decent knock off chrome set for $300-400, in good nick.

I think you're right about that seat.

It is shocking what you can spend on a quality firearm these days. I was talking with my dad last night about his collection of German made Weatherby's. He still has the receipt for a 340mag Mk V that he bought in 65 for $140.

I see you are on Kodiak. I spent 30 years in AK and a little time hunting on Kodiak. You live in a cool area for your 100GS.

So as you can see, I'm looking for a seat and complete exhaust for the R75/6. Anyone got a lead before I trawl through fleecebay.....

my 86-95 airhead seat is up for grabs too. pan very good, covering very good, no tears, nics. I need hinges, so they wont be in it. will post pics in a post of its own.

offers??

G/S Exhaust Stuff

I have a few old parts I no longer need:

1. 1981 R80 G/S exhaust collector box. From a R80 ST I think. Got it as a spare from the PO of my bike. Good shape. Can provide pics if necessary. $100. These are NLA.
Sold and headed to the east coast.

2. 1981 R80 G/S muffler/ exhaust can. Black. Good shape has a crack on the top mounting tab. Could be used as is or welded I think. Price: $Make Offer. These are still available new from BMW.

I will have more shortly I think. All prices will have actual shipping added to them when they go out the door.

Tom

Tom, PM sent on the collector box. I thought it was already spoken for, or else I would have already pinged you after you received the Keihan parts

Just for everyone's info, after swapping some PMs with Tom, I'm not going to get his old collector in favor of saving up for a Keihan SS box down the road.

Next.....

'81 BMW R bike stuff, and rox risers

Coil. OEM. off '81 R80G/S. Ohms out good and worked when I pulled it. $50.00 + shipping.
Dyna coil. 1.5 ohm for electronic ignition. You'll need a bracket.http://www.motoelekt.com/ignition.htm. $50.00 + shipping

Bosh Starter from '81 R80G/S. It will need a tune up. But works. Was running on for about 3 seconds after start, and sometimes had to hit the start button a couple times to get it to engage. Once the bike was warmed up, it worked fine. $150.00 + shipping (weighs like 12#)

Well, guess that's it for now. PM me with questions. If you are local I can deliver. I think paypal works. But I'm open to any thing. Long walks on the beach etc.

If any of this stuff seems over priced/under priced, let me know.
